Make Cleanliness a Habit: Keep Every Street, Neighbourhood and Doorstep Clean (Pankaj Rai )
New Delhi: With the aim of turning cleanliness into a public movement and raising awareness among people about hygiene and sanitation, a special cleanliness drive was conducted under the leadership of DCP IFSO Gaurav Tyagi. Organised under Special Campaign-6, the initiative saw active participation from the team, which worked to clean the surrounding area and encourage citizens to understand their responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness. The campaign emerged as an important step towards furthering the spirit of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
During the campaign, team members participated in the cleanliness drive with dedication. Highlighting the importance of sanitation, the team conveyed the message that a clean environment not only looks pleasant but also plays a vital role in building a healthier and better society. Spreading awareness about cleanliness and motivating people to keep their surroundings clean were the key objectives of the initiative.
Under the leadership of the DCP, the team conveyed that the responsibility for cleanliness does not rest solely with any one individual, department or organisation; rather, it is a shared responsibility of every citizen. If everyone develops the habit of keeping their homes, offices and nearby public places clean, the dream of a clean city and a healthy society can become a reality.
The initiative under Special Campaign-6 also highlighted the importance of public participation alongside government efforts. Regular cleaning, proper waste disposal and preventing littering in public places are effective steps towards maintaining cleanliness.
The dedicated team working under the leadership of Gaurav Tyagi strengthened the message of the Swachh Bharat Mission through its efforts. The team's active participation demonstrated that change begins with small steps and that collective responsibility can create a wider impact.
The DCP said, “Cleanliness is not just a campaign; it is a way of life. Let us say goodbye to dirt and ensure our participation in building a clean India.”
